Free Meals Hawaii Mission and Program
Aloha Venues and affiliated partners, Aloha Beer Company, Da Spot Healthfoods, and Bluewater Shrimp are committed to taking action to help save lives, provide food security and comfort to our communities in need and kupuna at risk.
In coordination with the City and County of Honolulu, the Free Meals Hawaii program mission is to provide food security to communities in need or at risk due to actions taken to contain COVID-19 by distributing nourishing, freshly made meals and supplies prepared under strict health and safety protocols:
- Delivery of meals and prepared meal kits to groups of disabled or at risk kupuna
- Food truck service to public housing and homeless/houseless communities
- Self-service catering to care facilities, assisted living centers, homeless shelters
- Curbside pickup for non-profit service organizations providing relief to at risk communities
- Delivery to our public service and medical ohana battling to keep our ohana safe
We have already delivered thousands of meals daily to the elderly and needy communities around the island free of charge. If you or your community’s food security has been impacted by COVID-19, please use the Request Free Meals contact form or phone our call center Monday – Saturday 9am – 3pm at (808) 943-MEAL (6325). We are able to reliably provide meals for large groups. However, please understand that we do not service individuals. For individual kupuna in need of meal assistance contact Aloha United Way at http://www.auw211.org/ or by dialing 2-1-1 on your phone.
Mālama Meals is a not for profit program in coordination with Aloha Venues partners and the City and County of Honolulu. All donations are directly used to support Mālama Meals programs.
